Laura mulvey’s male gaze theory from Laila Jaleel
Laura Mulvey's theory is the male gaze theory. This kind of theory would be good to include in a video if you want people to view your artist as provocative for example maybe in a hip-hop, rap or pop music video. However our genre is dance and we are not particularly bothered about using this theory as we think it will send the wrong message to our target audience. We would rather out artist be portrayed as a young, fun, bubbly and warm character.
