Adding more lip sincing

After reviewing the first draft we have decided that we need to add more lip sincing shots of our artist. We are going to do another day of filming to get shots of our artist singing in a simple environment compared to the beach and London. We are planning on filming our artist singing in front of a projector and a green screen.

The plan is to get lots of mid shots, close up shots and extra close up shots. We would like our video to consist of a wide variety of shots so we are planning to get all these types of shots on the day of filming. Close ups of our artists video make work well because it could make the audience feel a type of closeness to the artist

The use of an extreme close up of our artists lips is so the audience can see a more intense and clear view of the lip sincing and lyrics of the song. Also it has been replicated from other previous music videos and has seemed to work well. An example of this is in Rihanna's 'Rude Boy' video. The video uses a lot of extreme close ups and close ups of her face and lips. The gif shows a shot of her lips seen in the video. The bright colours around the lips make the shot really stand out and also, the extreme close up shots of her lips singing makes you pay attention to the lyrics
