We are going to make a few drafts and then decided on a final tour poster. It is important for the tour poster to include the name of our artist, the name of the tour and then dates of the tour. These aspects will be the same in the drafts however the colours, images, layout etc will be different. We will then decided, from the drafts, which one we would like to use for our final tour poster and make a few moderations. We decided to base the tour dates around summertime as this links in with the theme running through our music video and our artist.
This is our first draft which shows an image of our artist with feathers falling around her. I think that the layout of the poster is good considering that the tour name and the name of our artist has been written clear and visibly. Also the dates have been written towards the bottom of the poster so you don't take too much attention off the image of the artist but they are still clearly seen. However, we have decided not to use this tour poster for the following reasons. We feel that the font is rather simple along with the colours not relating to the digipak. We want a consistent theme when it comes to our artist's image so we think that having matching colours throughout is really important. Also this particular image of our artist doesn't seem to represent her having a lot of fun so when we come onto making the next draft we will be sure to use a picture of her clearly having fun, like laughing for example.
This is our second draft which shows the same image used for our digipak. This draft is much closer to what we think our final tour poster will look like. Using the same image that was used on the digipak creates synergy making the products recognisable for the audience. The 3D filter effect has been used on both products aswell, again, creating synergy and also creating a unique and edgy look for our artist. Having the white banner running along the middle of the poster makes our artists name and album name stand out, especially as the background colours are darker. We have included our artists website link at the bottom of the poster in a small font as it isn't completely necessary. We have decided to create our final tour poster based around this one but we will add more to it.

This is our final tour poster which is similar to the previous drafts but we have added more detail to it. The font used for out artists name is called 'Cinzel Decorative Bold' and we decided to use it because it has a girly and trendy touch to it. The font used for 'Beyond Colour' is 'Hinder Medium' and it is in a smaller font so it is simple but still striking. The triangle acts as a good background for the tour dates and makes them more visible. The thin white border around the poster gives it more of a sophisticated look. We stuck to the deep red, black and white colour scheme as it, again, looks sophisticated and it also shows a direct link to the digipak.
